Contact
To help us answer faster, tell us your device and OS version, your app version, and the email address on your account.
Subscriptions and billing
Cancel your subscription
iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → BirthWave → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BirthWave → Cancel.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling in the app store is the only way to stop renewals — deleting your BirthWave account does not do it.
Ask for a refund
Apple and Google process all BirthWave payments, so they handle refunds under their own policies and we cannot issue one directly. On iOS, use Apple's Report a Problem page. On Android, use the Google Play order history. If they decline and you think something has gone wrong on our side, email us and we will help you take it further.
Restore a subscription on a new phone
Sign in to BirthWave with the same account, open your Profile and tap Restore Purchases. You need to be signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you originally purchased with.
Your subscription isn't unlocking
Try Restore Purchases first, then sign out and back in. If it still won't unlock, email us with the store you bought from and the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
Playback
Audio stops when the screen locks
Check that BirthWave has background audio permission and that Low Power Mode or battery optimisation isn't suspending it. On Android, exclude BirthWave from battery optimisation in Settings → Apps → BirthWave → Battery.
Tracks won't load
Playback needs a connection. If you're on hospital or public wifi, try mobile data — restrictive networks often block media streaming.
Your account and data
Delete your account
Delete it in the app from your Profile, or follow the steps on our account deletion page. Cancel your subscription first.
Access, correct or export your data
Email support@mybirthwave.com and tell us what you need. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of rights, and our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for health-related data.
Before you write to us about your health
BirthWave provides music and audio for wellness and emotional support. It is not medical advice and does not replace care from your doctor, midwife or qualified healthcare provider. We can't answer medical questions. If you're worried about yourself or your baby, contact your provider or your local emergency number.
